Racing the Sand on Smashwords

I have decided to experiment with this whole self-publishing thing. I’m using “Racing the Sand” because its rights have reverted to me (which means if you already read “Racing the Sand” in Shelter of Daylight, it’s the same story with a few less typos). It is now available on Smashwords, and I’ll be putting it on Amazon in the near future. As this is an experiment, feedback (in the form of comments or reviews) is welcome!

And this is one of the things that makes Smashwords great–“Racing the Sand” is now available on Barnes & Noble, the Apple iBookstore, Sony, Diesel, and Kobo.

A Thief’s Gift to be published somewhere sometime

I received official word that White Cat will no longer be printing Shelter of Daylight; however, they are offering to print contracted works in another one of their magazines sometime within the next year. Since I want to see “A Thief’s Gift” in print, I am taking them up on the offer. It sounds like they are sorting through a whole mess of things, so it might be awhile before I have more details on where and when it will appear.

I emailed with White Cat Publications, and they’re running a bit behind on their print magazines (one of which is Shelter of Daylight), but it sounds like issue 10 should be available mid-May.
