H3: Homemade, Handmade Holiday – March 21, 2026
This Saturday, March 21st is the H3: Homemade, Handmade Holiday Spring Shopping Bazaar from 9am to 1pm! It takes place in the New Haven Community Center (located behind McDonald’s at 7500 SR 930 E), and it’s free to attend. This event always has a nice selection of handmade goods from a variety of vendors. I’ll be there with my books, art items, and crochet critters. I’ve made lots of new critters (check out a handful of them below) and experimented with some new patterns and new yarn. I hope to see you there!

I’ve replenished my supply of keychain birds–a few of these have already found new homes, but there are still plenty of colorful ones left. The bright handful of critters below them represent just a sampling of keychains that I’ve made with my new sock yarn from Simply Socks Yarn Company in Fort Wayne. And finally, my first kiwi (made with the pattern in Quirky Amigurumi by Alleshen Hamilton) was so popular that I made several more in different sizes!
Upcoming Events
Muncie Comic Con – April 18, 2026
My next event is the Muncie Comic Con on April 18, 2026 from 10am (VIP tickets get you in at 9:30am) to 5pm at the Delaware County Fairgrounds (1200 Wheeling Avenue). This year they have two buildings (Heartland & Memorial) with even more fun activities and vendors! I’ll probably send out another email before the event, but you can buy your tickets now!
Author Event @ Half Price Books – June 27, 2026
On June 27th, I’ll be at Half Price Books in Fort Wayne (533 E. Coliseum Blvd) from 1pm to 3pm with my books, art, and critters!
Sci-Fi Central @ Science Central – October 3, 2026
Mark your calendars for October 3rd! Sci-Fi Central has moved to October this year, and it will be from 10am to 4pm at Science Central (1950 N. Clinton Street) in Fort Wayne. It looks like you can’t buy your tickets yet, but you might want to put it on your calendar!
I’m still sorting out my schedule for the rest of the year–I’ll definitely add some events closer to the holidays and perhaps more in between the other events throughout the year. I’ll keep you posted here, and feel free to follow my Facebook page or Instagram to get more frequent updates and see pictures of my new work!
